Six emerging artists collaborate with celebrated artist Lita Albuquerque on LAAA's 2007 Mentor Exhibition NaCl, H2O. This installation will transform the physical environment of Gallery 825 using light, sound, projection and protean structures. NaCl, H2O will incorporate a variety of media and materials (including salt, water, and sand) in an investigation of the scientific as well as ethereal — exploring the power of collaboration and Albuquerque's potent aesthetic. Participating artists are Marcos Alvarez, Dori Atlantis, Pamela Mower Conner, Hung Nguyen, Gina Stepaniuk and Chie Yamayoshi.
