Painting Toward the Infinite.

In much of my work over the last decade, I have sought to address issues relating to an aspect of existence which is the experience of being Contained within the Physical Vessel while being ever-curious to know what exists on the Outside or as more commonly expressed: on the Other Side.

"Absurdist" or "Irrational" imagery has proven useful in my desire to Paint Toward the Infinite and has helped clear the room of burdensome thought. For rhetorical purposes, it may be useful to provide the following analogy: of the mind being as a room filled with and clouded by Thought which effectively blocks clear viewing through the Windows ; remove the Thoughts and be returned to the realm of Understanding.

Against the background of an Immensity that draws ever nearer, I set out to describe an emotional landscape informed by various elements culled from the absurd vocabulary of a Meaningless Existence.
