I attempt to convey the energy, power, and appeal of objects seen and known. Most of my work is oil on canvas or pencil on paper. I use realistic imagery in bold, frontal compositions. An overstuffed, velvet, easy chair often serves as a sensual stage for my subjects. Through juxtaposition and insets a magic realism often occurs.
