The evocative and vulnerable portrayal of 'the feminine' raises issues about autonomy, stereotypes, equality, and self-esteem. Creating dualities in which beauty is offset by an element of fear or discomfort, explores notions of guilt, strength, regret, revelations, dreams, nightmares, introspection, growth, and humor. Evoking these primal emotions exposes the complex aspects of life and relationships. www.freydamiller.com |
