While The Los Angeles Art Association resides in a unique place amongst the Los Angeles Art Community as well as our non-profit peers, the longevity and sustainability of our mission has informed other non-profit artist organizations. Towards that end, LAAA is committed to partnering and supporting other agencies who contribute to the cultural identity of our community.

LAAA believes in the complementary efforts of different art forms. On May 11, 2006, LAAA sponsored Exploring the Self Through Art, an exhibition celebrating 25 years of Fairfax Magnet Center for Visual Arts, at Gallery 825 in collaboration with Greenway Arts Alliance. This exhibition at Gallery 825 displayed the artwork of over 50 young artists who created artwork based on the Hercules Project, Greenway's multi-disciplinary theater production.

Greenway Arts Alliance is a not-for-profit professional theatre company housed at Greenway Court Theatre on the campus of Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. Greenway presents theatrical and other arts productions, and sponsors educational performing arts programs for teenagers attending Fairfax High School. To learn more, visit www.greenwayarts.org
